We collect information you provide — such as your name, mobile number, email, city/PIN, and details about your insurance needs or existing policies — when you submit a form, request a quote, file a claim, or contact us.

If you apply to us for a role, or are put forward for one by us, we also process recruitment data: your CV, work history, qualifications, and the results of any credential or background verification carried out with your knowledge.

We also collect limited technical data (such as device and usage information) through cookies and analytics, only with your consent.

We process your data on the basis of your consent and for legitimate uses, to: source and compare quotes from insurer partners, advise you, service and renew policies, support claims, respond to enquiries, and meet legal and regulatory obligations.

Where you engage our recruitment or HR practice, we process data to assess your suitability for a role, share your profile with the prospective employer, verify credentials, and — for payroll and compliance clients — run payroll and make statutory filings.

We share your data with our insurer partners and service providers strictly to issue and service the cover you choose. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

For recruitment, we share a candidate's profile only with the prospective employer being considered, and only with the candidate's knowledge. We never charge candidates a fee.

Under the DPDP Act you may access and correct your data, request erasure, withdraw consent, nominate another individual, and raise a grievance. To exercise these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer.

We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law, and we apply reasonable security safeguards. In the event of a breach, we will notify affected individuals and authorities as required.

By submitting a form you authorise Assurmate and its representatives to contact you via call, SMS, email or WhatsApp regarding insurance, even if your number is registered under DND/NDNC.
