POSP questions
A Point of Sale Person (POSP) is an IRDAI-recognised insurance distributor who can sell pre-underwritten insurance products on behalf of a licensed insurance intermediary like Assurmate. After a short training and certification, you can sell a range of simple insurance products and earn commission.
No prior insurance experience is needed, and you only need to have passed Class 10. We provide the training and tools, so anyone motivated to help people and earn can start.
Earnings depend entirely on how much you sell. You earn a commission on each policy plus recurring income when those policies renew. There's no cap and no salary — it's a genuine income opportunity you can scale at your own pace. (Figures vary by product and insurer.)
There is no charge from Assurmate to join and get started. You'll need to complete the IRDAI-mandated training and certification; we guide you through the whole process.
